Prepare a thumb impression carefully
Prepare a clear thumb impression using only requirements from the current official notification.
Start with the notification
Authorities may specify which thumb, ink colour, format, dimensions and KB range. Do not rely on a generic preset.
Crop without cutting ridges
Remove empty margins while keeping the entire impression visible. Rotation should only straighten the image.
Check the final file
Confirm format, exact pixel dimensions and actual byte size; inspect clarity at normal zoom.
